We are so excited to offer riding lessons. 

I have been riding since I was 2, 28 years now, and enjoy teaching children to ride so that that child may truly love and enjoy horses the way that my family and I do.  

The minimum age requirement for lessons is 4.  I feel that though there are children that can ride younger than 4, the attention span is not there until that age.  I offer pony rides for those younger than 4. 

I like to emphasize safety both on the ground and in the saddle.  For this reason, all children are started and remain in a 60' round pen until I feel that they are ready to graduate into a larger area.  We have a 4 acre paddock to ride in as well. 

Lessons include more then just how to ride, they include all aspects of horsemanship from how to saddle and bridle the horse to grooming and caring for the horse.  Group lessons are offered now up to 3 children at a time. 

We do not require a contract or a set number of lessons and we always enjoy visitors as well.  I am glad to provide references if asked.
